In the last year, more than 150 bills that would censor what educators can say or teach in classrooms have been introduced in 39 states. And books that discuss race and LGBTQIA+ issues have been especially targeted. This Black History Month, Allies celebrates the incredible importance of knowing our history and affirming that Black history is American history.
