Allies COVID-19 Updates

What We Do: COVID-19 Support

The health and safety of Allies’ staff, clients, and community has always been our top priority.

From the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Allies adjusted our service model to bring our programs to clients in a way that was safe and effective. Recognizing that not everyone is safer at home, and balancing the need to follow strict public health measures, we never ceased operations throughout COVID-19. When finding basic needs (food, diapers, toiletries, etc.) became increasingly difficult for our clients, Allies created a weekly fresh grocery and basic supply delivery service to bring these necessities to client homes. As more families relied on us, our services evolved into twice-weekly drive-thrus to provide healthy produce, cleaning supplies, diapers, and household essentials. When vaccines became available, we hosted vaccine clinics, public health campaigns with community health providers, and worked tirelessly to get our clients vaccinated. As part of our commitment to our clients and our awareness of the disparate health outcomes they face, all Allies staff members are required to be fully vaccinated.

Allies distributed tens of thousands of pounds of produce, diapers and wipes, and bags of cleaning supplies and household essentials for families during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As the pandemic evolved, so did we. Today, we continue to closely monitor local, state, and federal public health updates on COVID guidelines, and adhere to all state and federal contract requirements for COVID precautions.

We deeply value our role as stewards of client and community safety. While we cannot predict what the future holds, we can guarantee that we will continue to prioritize health and safety for everyone.

If you have any questions about COVID support or how Allies is managing our precautions, feel free to contact us.
