Amina Jones Fields | Allies for Every Child

Amina began her career in research and program evaluation with the Center for Educational Equity at WestEd and the John Gardner Center for Youth and Their Communities at Stanford University.

Prior to her current leadership role at Allies, Amina served as the Vice President of Research, Evaluation and Reporting at Children’s Institute (CII). During her eleven-year tenure at CII she guided several multi-year research studies funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and the Administration for Children and Families (ACF), as well as designing and implementing program evaluation initiatives funded by various philanthropic partners. Amina utilizes data to engage staff across all levels of the organization in ongoing dialogue about barriers, strengths and positive measurable change. Amina is passionate about data and social justice.

Amina holds a degree in Anthropology from Duke University, and attended the Social Science, Policy and Educational Practice doctoral program at Stanford University School of Education.
