Marianne Guilfoyle

Chief Innovations Officer

Marianne became a member of the executive team at Allies for Every Child in October of 2018. She works closely with the CEO to drive key innovation activities aligned with strategic priorities. Prior to beginning her tenure at Allies, Marianne spent nearly 20 years dedicated to initiating and developing programs that served children and families who have been touched by foster care and adoption. Through Marianne’s advocacy and commitment to building teams comprised of passionate staff with a thirst for knowledge, she grew each program in size and impact with a keen eye for fiscal responsibility. Marianne feels passionately about being brave on behalf of every child, and bold enough to find new ways in the face of adversity, which is what led her to join the staff at Allies. Marianne firmly believes every child deserves a family, be it the one they were born into or the one we help create. She is a Chicago native and formed her family through foster care-adoption. Her leadership style is influenced by these words from Brene Brown: “If we want people to fully show up, to bring their whole selves including their unarmored, whole hearts-so that we can innovate, solve problems, and serve people- we have to be vigilant about creating a culture in which people feel safe, seen, heard and respected.”
