Lukas Jaeggi

Chief Program Officer

Lukas, a Licensed Psychologist and 2009 Graduate Fellow of the Napa Infant-Parent Mental Health program, joined Allies for Every Child in 2018 with a passion for supporting trauma-informed, relationship-based organizations in their pursuit of excellence. As Chief Program Officer, Lukas works across programs to ensure that the agency maximizes all funding contracts, leverages resources effectively to provide optimal services to clients, and continues to meet Council of Accreditation (COA) standards of best practice as well as funder compliance expectations. Lukas has over 20 years of experience working with underserved children and families, including in several premier social welfare and mental health organization where he has held a range of leadership positions. Lukas has a PhD in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, and graduate degrees from the University of Chicago and The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He is a board-certified art therapist and holds a certificate of nonprofit management from UCLA. Lukas is a native Swiss and immigrated to the US in 1993 to receive clinical training at Bruno Bettelheim’s world renowned Orthogenic School, an experience Lukas describes in his book “Milieu Psychotherapy: Nurturing Hope in Children of Despair.”
