Richard joined the Allies for Every Child in 2014. He oversees all aspects of the agency’s finances, including the development and management of budgets, preparation of financial statements, and agency investments and reserves.
Richard brings nearly three decades of financial management experience in the private and nonprofit sectors, with a focus on developing policies and procedures to improve performance and productivity. Before joining Allies, Richard worked as the Chief Operating Officer for the Arthritis Foundation Western Region.
He also spent more than 20 years as the Chief Financial Officer of the Children’s Bureau of Southern California. Richard provided staff financial leadership in supporting their $22M capital campaign that built the organization’s headquarters at Magnolia Place in Los Angeles. Prior to serving at Children’s Bureau, Richard was involved in real estate sales and development, and currently holds a California real estate broker’s license. Richard has an MBA and an undergraduate degree in business from the University of San Francisco.
